Description of function

To work within the Quality team managing continuous sampling and analysis of polymer samples from various stages of the recycling process. Producing results to assess the quality of materials entering the facility and the final product whilst ensuring compliance with all  relevant quality and health and safety standards.

Job responsibilities
  • To lead and work effectively as part of the plant operations team to support productivity within production.
  • Understand the production process and work alongside the relevant teams to resolve any quality concerns or issues.
  • Through the leadership of your team(s), ensure final product quality always meets the required specification throughout all shifts.
  • To have knowledge of Quality Control and other requirements for area of responsibility as per standards and guidelines including safety guidelines.
  • To report and manage near misses / observations and accidents / incidents as per company procedures.
  • Flexible working within the Quality team to ensure all tasks and shifts are covered according to business requirements.
  • Ensure all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure all work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
CAPABILITY PROFILE; KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential

KE1: A thorough understanding of Health &

Safety in the workplace.

KE2: Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015

KE3: Knowledge of Laboratory quality

systems or GLP

Desirable

KD1: Knowledge of ISO 17025:2017

KD2: Knowledge of Waste recycling

operations.
