Description of function
The job holder is responsible and accountable for daily supply chain operations, supervising and managing workload distribution within the team, and collaborating closely with internal departments and suppliers to optimise the supply chain process. This role emphasises efficient sourcing, team coordination, process enhancement and supplier relationship management.

CAPABILITY PROFILE; KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Education and Experience:
Essential:
- Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) qualified or equivalent, or working towards the qualification with strong knowledge and experience of Supply Chain practices and procedures.
- Proficient in business ERP & MRP systems, particularly Microsoft D365, with advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications. Highly proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, reporting, and presentations.
- Significant proven experience in supply chain management in a leadership or supervisory role
- Financial and Numeric literacy within a business environment
Desirable:
- Good knowledge and experience of the Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment, including the ability to understand technical drawings, raw material requirements and manufacturing techniques
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
- Lean/6-Sigma/Green or Yellow Belt certification
